I have decided to work on my sewing abilities, both hand sewing and machine sewing. My new goal in life is to have a dress from each of my favorite eras and make most of them myself. The other day, I was browsing the internet for some inspiration for Halloween this year and I came upon an amazing blog by Leimomi Oakes (aka the Dreamstress). She has a wonderful array of historical costumes (garb) that she has made herself along with guides to making many of them.
